Overview • Mounjaro KwikPen 12.5 mg/0.6 mL: a multi-dose pre-filled pen containing 4 doses, each 0.6 mL dose containing 12.5 mg of tirzepatide, solution for subcutaneous injection • Tirzepatide is a prescription medicine that acts as a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist; it is used to treat type 2 diabetes and for weight management in adults, as directed by the doctor Key Features • One injection weekly, at any time of day, with or without food • One pen holds 4 weekly doses (about one month) • A higher dose reached gradually in 2.5 mg steps, at least 4 weeks apart, as decided by the doctor (adults) • Injected under the skin of the abdomen, thigh or upper arm, rotating the injection site • Store in the refrigerator (2 to 8 degrees C); after first use the pen may be kept unrefrigerated at up to 30 degrees C for up to 30 days
